Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Coolross (Dorrha parish) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Coolross (Dorrha parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies flat pasture with wide views, preserving a 35 metre circular area measured northwest to southeast. An earth and stone bank, 2.5 metres wide, encloses the centre, while a 3 metre wide outer ditch cuts 0.5 to 0.7 metres deep around it.
Situated on flat pasture with good views in all directions. A slightly raised circular area (diam. 35m NW-SE) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1-1.5m) and an outer fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.5-0.7m) with a possible destroyed causewayed entrance (Wth 10m) at S. There is good evidence of internal and external stone revetment of the enclosing bank in the form of upright stones protruding from the top of the denuded bank. The bank and fosse are destroyed from NE to E while the bank is intersected by a field fence at E on a NE-SW axis.
