Coolmanagh Lower holds a vanished ringfort, perhaps fifty metres across, where a field boundary now cuts through the northern bank. The earth forgot the shape, but the story remains: people built a circle, lived inside it, and left the rest to rain, ploughs and time. Fairy fort is a nickname born of wonder, not proof. Under the grass may still lie a threshold, a hearth or a ditch, waiting for someone patient enough to listen.

In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. No visible surface traces.

A fairy fort, or earthen ringfort, in Coolmanagh Lower is a circular earthwork typical of early-medieval Ireland, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries AD. Local tradition associates such sites with the faé, and they were often considered sacred or inhabited by otherworldly beings in Irish folklore.
