Fairy fort in Coolatooder: a 34 m earthen ring, 1.6 m high, with a shallow outer ditch and a faint second bank in the ploughed field beside it. A modern fence replaced much of the outer rampart, but the south-east quarter still shows the original curve. The entrance faces east-north-east, inviting rather than blocking. People may have lived there, fenced it, forgotten it, or fed it to story; the earth keeps its shape regardless.

In pasture. Circular area (diam. 34m) defined by earthen bank (H 1.6m) with external fosse (D 0.4m). Faint trace of outer bank visible as soil mark in adjacent ploughed field. According to Hartnett (1939, 209), modern fence superceded outer rampart, except in SE quadrant where original bank remained. Entrance to ENE.
