Coolanoran is an empty field now, but a thirty-metre circular embankment stood there when surveyed in 1841. Ploughs and men erased the fort, yet the fairies never left. They simply stopped needing a wall.
In pasture, on slight S-facing slope. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
