Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloontagh,currygranny stands on a low pasture rise, its thirty-four-metre circle marked by a faint scarp and curving bank rather than a deep ditch. At the centre sits a small mound of earth and stone, perhaps the ghost of a hearth or the bones of a forgotten house. The entrance has vanished beneath grass and time, leaving the place neither fully hidden nor clearly remembered, but holding its shape in the field like a breath not yet released.

On a low rise in pasture. A raised subcircular area (34m N-S; 32m E-W) defined from NNE-E-ESE and at S by a scarp (H 0.2-0.7m) and elsewhere by a curving field bank and drain. There is no trace of a fosse. The original entrance is not recognisable. At the centre of the interior is a low circular mound of earth and stone (diam. 5.7m; H 0.2-0.3m). Compiled by: Patrick F.
