Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloonroosk

Cloonroosk holds a shallow oval scar in level pasture, twenty metres long and twenty-six wide, with a faint outer ditch and inner slope. People called it a fairy fort, which means it still feels like a threshold rather than a ruin. A human hand may have shaped that circle for shelter, ceremony or exclusion, while the fairies took it over later in story. The grass covers the truth but does not erase the shape.
