Half-hidden in woodland and rough pasture on a steep hillock in Cloone, the earthen ringfort still holds its shape: a subcircular platform thirty-one metres across, bounded by a broad bank and faint facing stones. A field wall cuts through it now, as if the land forgot the boundary once drawn by human hands. In the old name, a fairy fort, the place becomes a threshold: part home, part trap, part joke the landscape tells the living.

On top of a steep-sided hillock. Overgrown, subcircular platform (dim. 31m WNW-ESE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; H 0.3m) E-S-W which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.4m) elsewhere, with facing-stones visible at ENE. The monument is bisected by a WNW-ESE field wall and is in woodland S of this feature and rough pasture N of it.
