Fairy fort in Clonloskan, County Cavan: an irregular earthen mound, 0.3m high, 31.9m by 17.8m, with a drain on the east. Not marked on any edition of OS. Possibly the remains of a rath. People may have lived there, loved there, argued over its edge in the dark. The mound keeps what it keeps.
Not marked on any edition of OS. Possible remains of a rath represented by an irregular-shaped earthen mound (H 0.3m; dims. 31.9m N-S x 17.8mE-W) bordered by a drain on E side. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
