Bellahillan Bridge

Four-arch stone road bridge, built c.1780, over River Erne, having semi-circular arches and flat deck. Squared stone blocks to abutments and piers with V-cutwaters. Roughly squared rubble stone barrels with roughly cut thin stone voussoirs to arch rings. Squared rubble stone spandrels and parapet walls with large roughly squared coping blocks. Rubble stone wing walls.

A robust stone bridge made from locally sourced material, that survives in good condition and is testament to the quality of the original design and construction, and to the skill of its engineer and stonemasons. The bridge is adds historic character to its rural setting and is part of the county's civil engineering heritage.
