Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Clonakenny is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Clonakenny, County Tipperary, Ireland. It sits partly on the summit and partly on the southwest slope of a north-south ridge in rolling pastureland, forming a roughly oval enclosure about 35m across from northwest to southeast and 31m from northeast to southwest. The western edge is a scarp 2.05m high, while the eastern side is a low earthen bank 1.6m wide showing evidence of stone facing, with no visible outer ditch and what appears to be a separate concentric field boundary beyond it.

Situated partially on the summit and partially on the SW slope of a N-S ridge in rolling pastureland. A roughly oval enclosure (diam. 35m NW-SE; 31m NE-SW) defined by scarp at W (2.05m H) and an earthen bank at E (Wth 1.6m; 0.3m int. H; 1.45m ext. H) with evidence of stone facing. There is no very wide, obvious entrance like that depicted on Stout's plan (1984, 47). The outer bank depicted on this plan appears to be a concentric earthen and stone field boundary and is separated by a 4m wide flat area from the edge of the ringfort. No visible evidence of an outer fosse. A field wall abuts the site at SSW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
