Fairy fort in Clogheenmilcon, County Cork. An earthen ringfort, oval and raised, with a bank on three sides and a scarp to the west. A three-and-a-half-metre gap opens to the south. Ferns and bushes fill the interior now. A field fence leans against the outer bank to the northwest. People may have lived here, marked the boundary, kept stock or simply named the shape they saw. The earth still holds the line they drew.

In overgrown strip of ground. Raised oval area (27.4m NE-SW; 24m NW-SE) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.3m) to N, E and S; scarp to W. Entrance (Wth 3.4m) to S. Bank and interior heavily overgrown with ferns and some bushes. Field fence built against outer face of bank to NW.
