Situated in undulating pasture, with good views of the surrounding landscape. Ringforts (WM031-069----/068----) lie c. 165m to S and c. 200m to SW. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular-shaped earthwork and on the 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a subcircular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 40m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone with a slight external fosse. A field wall runs outside most of the fosse. There is a possible entrance at SE. The interior has a slight W-facing slope. Monument is visible today as a tree-lined earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
