In pasture, on break in N-facing slope, at foot of N side of Claragh Mountain. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.9m; ext. H 1.6m) S->NW, with external fosse (D 0.9m); levelled bank visible as low rise elsewhere. Surviving bank incorporated into field fence system. Man-made underground passage (CO039-04103-) in interior. According to local information bank to N and E levelled c. 1966. Second ringfort (CO039-04102-) in same field c. 50m to E.
