In grassland situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground in upland region on N edge of ravine with good views in all directions. Nearby enclosure (TS054-046----) 150m to E. Raised circular area (diam. c. 31m N-S; c. 33m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 2m; base Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1-2m) with traces of an external fosse (base Wth 3m; top Wth 4m; ext. D 0.3m) from W through N to E elsewhere the ravine acting as a defensive feature on these sides. The enclosing bank fully encloses the interior and is well preserved with possible entrance feature at NW (Wth 4m).
