In grassland situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground in upland region on N edge of ravine with good views in all directions. Nearby enclosure (TS054-046----) 150m to E. Raised circular area (diam. c. 31m N-S; c. 33m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 2m; base Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1-2m) with traces of an external fosse (base Wth 3m; top Wth 4m; ext. D 0.3m) from W through N to E elsewhere the ravine acting as a defensive feature on these sides. The enclosing bank fully encloses the interior and is well preserved with possible entrance feature at NW (Wth 4m). Impossible to examine monument in detail or take internal dimensions due to dense cover of vegetation.
