Mummer's Waltz: The chamber is a circle, a chamber inside a chamber, a living drum. The floor is a white stone, a pale moon, a smooth disc. The walls are white marble, a marble castle, a bright chamber. The ceiling is a white dome, a marble bowl, a smooth curve. The light is a white fire, a moon flame, a clear burning. The shadow is a black line, a dark edge, a sharp mark. The chamber is a living circle, a marble drum, a breathing wheel.

A fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Castlequarter, likely an early-medieval agricultural or defensive site, was levelled in the 1980s; local tradition associates such sites with fairy lore and ancient habitation.
