Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cartronroe (tirerrill By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cartronroe (tirerrill By.), County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a ridge pasture with a thirty-metre circular area enclosed by a four-metre earthen bank. Large stones appear on the internal southeast face, while a two-metre band of rushes marks a fosse along the western and southern arcs. The boggy interior contains a possible northern hut site, and dense gorse covers the northeastern and eastern portions.
In pasture, on top of a ridge. A circular area (diam. 30m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.1m) with large stones visible on the internal face at SE. A fosse is indicated by a band of rushes (Wth 2m) along the W and S arcs. The interior is boggy with a possible hut site (SL034-134001-) in the N half. The NE and E portions of the rath are densely overgrown with gorse. There is another rath (SL034-135----) c. 80m to E.
