Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrowkeale (Kilvellane parish), Derryleigh, Kilnacappagh is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowkeale (Kilvellane parish), Derryleigh, Kilnacappagh, County Tipperary, Ireland. Set on a west-facing slope in upland ground, it is a raised semicircular area 22 metres north to south, enclosed by two earth and stone banks with a fosse 1.5 metres wide and 0.75 metres deep between them. Only the western half survives, since a modern road cuts the site on a north to south axis at the east. The inner bank is 1.5 metres wide and best preserved at the south, where traces of the outer bank also remain.
Situated on a W-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area with a nearby ringfort (TN037-006) to the N. A raised semicircular area (diam. 22m N-S) enclosed by two earth and stone banks with intervening fosse (Wth 1.5m; D 0.75m). Only the W half of the site survives because it is intersected by a modern road at E on a N-S axis. The inner bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.2-0.5m) is best preserved at S with traces of the outer bank also visible at S. No entrance feature visible.
