Towards the bottom of the E-facing slope of Rathcroghan. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 35m N-S; c. 30m E-W) sloping down to the E (H of slope c. 3m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.6-2.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.4-0.5m) S-NW, and a slight scarp (H 0.1m) E-S. It is truncated by the S bank of road (RO022-057021-) at N. There is a house platform (RO022-057072-) (dims c. 8m E-W; 6m N-S; H 0.1m at W to 0.7m at E) just N of the centre. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The well (RO022-057053-) is c. 30m to the NE.
