Carrigleagh in Fermoy once held a thirty-metre earthen ring, now buried beneath level tillage. The earth swallowed the boundary, yet the circular shape still whispers through soil marks above the field. This is not a lost place, but a hidden one, waiting for eyes sharp enough to read what the land remembers.

In level tillage, in the NE corner of a field. According to local information, there was a rath at this location. It is not visible at ground level but a levelled circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) is visible as a soil mark in an aerial photograph (SMR file).
