Marianne and Cleo built a small red house inside the ancient ring, proving that love and fantasy still occupy forgotten places. The clay walls watched them make a life, while the broken railway line marked the border between memory andForgetting. They left the house empty for the fairies, creating a visible chamber where the invisible could be seen.

Raised oval area (int. dims. 50m N-S; c. 43.5m E-W) enclosed by a wide, low earthen bank (Wth 7.7m) and slight remains of a fosse (Wth 3.5m; D 0.3m). Break in bank with traces of possible accompanying causeway at NNW represents original entrance. From N-E-ESE the perimeter of the site has been destroyed as a result of the construction of a now disused railway line.
