Situated on low lying wet pasture-land, 160m SE of a stream which marks boundary with the townland of Grange. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 33m NW-SE; 30m NE-SW) enclosed by a well preserved earthen bank, a wide shallow fosse, a low outer bank which curves from W-N-NE and external fosse. Possible entrance gap at NE. A post 1700 field fence intersects the site from E-S-SW. The interior is uneven, with a rise in the SW sector.
