Carnagarve holds a twenty-four-metre earthen ring where a forgotten entrance has vanished beneath soil and time. The bank rises slightly on three sides while a narrow waterlogged drain marks the ditch that once kept intriders out. People may have lived inside, loved inside, or raged at the rain pooling in that hidden trench. The fairies never left; they simply stopped answering questions from strangers.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 24m) defined by a low earthen bank from S-W-NE and by a low scarp from SE-S. Perimeter levelled from NE-E-SE. An external, narrow, waterlogged drain running from S-W-NE presumably follows the line of the fosse. Original entrance not recognisable.
