Cappanaloha East, County Cork: a 40m ringfort atop a pasture hill, its shallow bank and dark-grass ditch marking a boundary between human days and fairy nights. People may have lived there, raised children, lost lovers, or simply walked past until machinery came. The fort gave up its shape around 1983, but the ground still holds the circle in grass and memory.

In pasture, atop hill. Circular area (c. 39.7m NW-SE) defined by low rise (max. H 0.8m) W->NNE; with external fosse surviving as band of dark-green grass. Levelled c. 1983.
