Caherhenryhoe holds a broken circular rath twenty-one metres wide on a grassy rise in County Galway. Its earthen bank still hints at an inner stone revetment, though modern gaps and a clipping field wall have cut through the old shape. The site invites wondering about the people who built, lived within, and eventually abandoned that small defensible circle before memory faded.

On a rise in grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 21m) defined by a bank with traces of an inner stone revetment at NW. Numerous gaps in the bank appear to be modern. A N-S running field wall clips it at W. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 13 January 2017
