Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Brickendown is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Brickendown, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a circular area 26 metres north-south and 24 metres east-west on a gentle east-facing slope. A bank 5.55 metres wide defines the site where visible in the southwest, northeast and southeast, while dense vegetation hides the rest. A possible 4.5-metre entrance faces south, and an east-facing breach opens the bank.
In improved pasture, on a gentle E-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 26m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by bank (overall Wth 5.55m; Wth at top 1.7m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.35m) where visible S-W, NE and SE. Bank not seen elsewhere due to dense overgrowth of vegetation. Possible entrance (Wth 4.5m) at S and breach in bank at E. Fosse (overall Wth 5.7m; basal Wth 1m; D 0.85m) NE-SW has been modified NE-SE where deepened for drainage and truncates fosse area to W and N. Interior has a gentle S-facing slope and is planted with oak saplings. Ringfort (TS061-081----) is c. 28m to ESE.
