In improved pasture, on upper edge of a gentle E-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 22m) defined by scarp (Wth 2.5m; H 1m) NW-NE, levelled NE-SE and obscured by vegetation SE-NW. Scarp wide and uneven NW-NE, where an abutting field boundary is depicted on latest edition OS 6-inch map. An external fosse (Wth c. 4m; D 0.45m) is re-cut SE-NW and backfilled NW-SE. Interior is generally level and uneven in N-sector.
