Bohonagh holds a thirty-two-metre earthen ring on a western slope, marked by two deliberate gaps rather than one formal gate. People built that round chamber for daily life, perhaps blocking the west wind or keeping livestock safe while leaving room for carts and people to pass. The fairies belong only to later storytelling, yet they remind us the chamber still feels alive because its shape excludes ordinary forgetfulness.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular, slightly raised area (32.5m N-S; 32.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 3m) with external fosse (D 1.5m) SE->SW.
