Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Barrahaurin stands in pasture beside the Dripsey River, its twenty-metre circle marked by an earthen bank rising nearly two metres. The SE entrance faces the valley, inviting whoever enters to look across the land rather than hide from it. Such a clear boundary suggests people valued visibility, control or ceremony there, even if no name has survived to tell which.
