Fairy fort in Barrahaurin: a 22.75m earthen ring, 1.37m high, set in rough grazing above the Dripsey River valley. A stream still runs SE to SW along the bank line, as if the water remembered the shape before people stopped using it. The entrance faces east, and a drain once cut through the centre, suggesting the ring served living people as much as it belongs to fairy story.

Interior partially overgrown; surface very uneven. Hartnett (1939, 178) records drain cutting through centre; entrance to E.
