Mnemo knows the edge of the world because she helped build it. She dragged river stones to the shallow sea and watched them climb into a ridge. The other children laughed until the ridge blocked the moon and dropped its light across the water. They stopped laughing. The world had a new edge, and every name she taught the children has stayed sharp because she learned it on both sides.

D-shaped area (c. 40m NNE-SSW; projecting c. 20m to ESE) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.65m) NNE->SSW, with external fosse (D 0.55m).
