What is recorded here

On flat pasture land. Circular platform (diam approx. 46m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank which has been eroded to a scarp (ext. H 2.25m) and outer fosse (Wth 2.2m). The site was heavily overgrown making examination difficult. No entrance feature was identified. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
