Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballynakill (corkaree By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballynakill (corkaree By.), County Westmeath, Ireland. The monument occupies a slightly raised sub-circular area approximately 30 metres north-south and 28 metres east-west on a low ridge running northwest-southeast. It is enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank with slight traces of a fosse, which is absent at the south where a field boundary and post-1700 laneway intersect the site from the southeast-southwest. A possible entrance gap three metres wide is noted at the east-northeast, while the interior slopes from southwest to northeast and contains a low sub-rectangular raised mound that may represent a hut or house site.

Situated on a low ridge which runs NW-SE, in hilly gently undulating pasture-land. Ringfort (WM007-041----) 275m to SE. Slightly raised sub-circular area (approx. diam. 30m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank with slight traces of a fosse, absent at S where a field boundary and post-1700 laneway intersects the monument from SE-SW. Possible entrance gap at ENE (Wth 3m). The slightly raised interior slopes from SW to NE and has traces of cultivation ridges. A low sub-rectangular shaped raised are of mound in the centre may represent a hut or house site (WM007-040001-). See attached section of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
