No visible surface trace survives in the reclaimed farmland, though a thirty-five-metre stone-faced bank once enclosed the site. The fort has vanished beneath modern soil and memory, leaving only a ghost in the survey notes. What remained of its wall may still lie buried under the fields, waiting for rain or plough to reveal it again.

In reclaimed farmland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 148, no. 59a) as an ‘Earthen fort’ of which only a section of the enclosing bank (L c. 35m) survived and it appeared to be stone-faced.
