What is recorded here
A thirty-metre earthen ring stood in Ballylin pasture until ploughs erased it, leaving no trace but memory. It was still drawn on maps in 1923, yet human forgetfulness and heavy wheels completed what fairy mischief began. The land keeps its own counsel, taking back what it lends.
In gently undulating pasture. Monument, depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
