What is recorded here

Half a fortress, half a rumor. The southwest arc still stands in Galway pasture, its bank and ditch unbroken while fields cut clean through the missing east. What vanished is not loss but transformation: stone and soil returned to the land that birthed them. The rath does not need completion to be whole.

In gently undulating pastureland. Only SW half of this rath survives. It is defined by a bank and external fosse with traces of a possible outer bank at SW. A field boundary cuts through the monument at NW and SE and no visible surface trace survives of the enclosing elements to NE of it.
