Fairy fort in Ballyhee, County Clare: an earthen ringfort, a rath, still standing where human hands shaped it. Local story calls it fairy, which is often how people name the parts they stopped understanding. The ridge may have marked a boundary, a home or a warning; the soil remembers pressure even when the name has blurred.
