Fairy fort in Ballygibbon, County Cork, is a roughly circular earthen ringfort about 32 metres long and 30 metres wide, still slightly raised in pasture on a west-facing slope. It appeared on the 1842 Ordnance Survey map as a hachured bank or scarp beside a field boundary, though the fence has vanished and the earth remains. People may have lived there, fenced it, or feared it; the shape endures either way.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as arc (C c. 22m) SSE->WNW formed by hachured bank or scarp on W side of NNW-SSE field boundary.
