Fairy fort in Ballycoskery: earthen ring, 39m by 35m, on an east-facing slope in County Cork. Cattle have chewed gaps through the bank and cut furrows inside, yet the circle still reads as a deliberate edge against the hill. People may have drawn that line long before written memory, then stepped back and let grass, rain and hoofwork remake it into a fairy fort.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (39m N-S; 35m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1m) W->ENE; scarp elsewhere. Numerous cattle gaps in bank. Interior surface cut by cattle; raised on SE side to compensate for hillslope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
