Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballyconor Little

Situated on a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of a large D-shaped or subcircular enclosure (dims c. 60m NE-SW; c. 55m NW-SE) defined by a single wide fosse feature (Wth c. 3-5m) is visible on aerial photographs (MM (5) 9-11, 16-17; (5) 17, 18, 34-37). It is on the NE side of a NW-SE laneway, which might truncate it slightly at SW. It is also visible on the OSi series of aerial photographs (2000) and Google Earth (2003).
