Fairy fort in Ballinvullin, County Limerick. A circular earthen bank still stands in the level meadow, partly cut back by a field boundary, while yellow flags crowd the shallow interior. People may have lived there, excluded others, or simply marked the shape of a place before memory failed. The fairy name suggests they stopped believing the fort belonged to people at all.

In level meadow. Circular enclosure visible as cropmark on aerial photograph (LAS) is now evident as circular area (28m NNE-SSW; 30m WNW-ESE) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.3m; Wth c. 6m); enclosing element truncated by field boundary SW-NW. Interior level and partially covered by yellow flags (iris pseudacorus).
