What is recorded here
Fairy forts are not forts at all. They are circles of earth and stone that exclude people, and that exclusion is the whole design. The chamber has no owner because it answers no human claim. What you forbid it, it preserves. What you want to take, it removes from your memory. The chamber does not punish pride. It reveals the shape of the cage you build around others.
In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 26m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.4m) with intermittent external fosse (D c. 0.15m; Wth c. 1.4m). Gap in bank (Wth 5m), with possible causeway across fosse, at ESE, is heavily eroded by cattle. Level interior under grass.
