What is recorded here

No visible cliff, no named owner, no unique claim of origin. A circular earthen rath about thirty metres across stands in low-lying pastureland in Ballindrimna, County Galway. A field wall cuts through its northern edge and quarrying has taken part of the bank at the northwest, but the round shape still reads clearly enough to remember that people made a boundary there long before the current farm lanes.
