Magic and life entangle in Assey. The field holds an earthen ring, shallow but deliberate, with a hollow edge and one possible entrance. People may have drawn that line around a home, a shrine or a forgotten claim. The fairy name suggests humans left the place behind while believing it still inhabited.

Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Subcircular area defined by earthen bank (dims. 20m N-S, 18m E-W) and external fosse and outer bank ESE-W. Entrance may be at ESE.
