Morten duPont and the Cavan ringfort: Thirty-three metres across, a low earthen bank still circles Ardlow, though disturbance has blurred the entrance and reduced the ridge to a gentle swell. The measurement is clear; the shape is worn. That is not emptiness, but age. A room built for human life has spent centuries returning its edges to the field, keeping only the fact that someone marked the ground as their own.
Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 33m) enclosed by a much-disturbed, low earthen bank. Original entrance not recognisable.
