Ardintenant holds a thirty-eight metre ring where stone still crowns an earthen bank, proving human hands shaped the slope before towers rose nearby. The lane cut through the northeast edge and a farm building occupies the southeast quadrant, yet the circular boundary remains visible in pasture. That continuity suggests the fort did not die when abandoned; it changed use, becoming the measure around which later life arranged itself.

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 38m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m) S->NE with remains of stone wall on top; external fosse (D 1.6m) SW-NW. Tower house and corner tower (CO149-002---) built on line of bank to NW and S respectively; laneway running NNW-SSE truncates bank to NE; farm building in SE quadrant.
