An Mhín Aird Bhuí holds a circular earthen ringfort twenty-six metres wide on an east-facing slope above the Minard valley. Its southern bank still stands one metre high while a curving field wall replaces the missing northern edge, preserving the original line. The true entrance has vanished, leaving only gaps at the south and southeast where people might still step inside the forgotten circle.

Internal diam. 26.4m A circular univallate rath situated on a gentle E facing slope overlooking the Minard valley. Along the SE and S sectors the site is enclosed by an earthen bank up to 1.25m high internally and 1.1m externally. Around the remainder of the perimeter the bank has been replaced by a curving field wall which preserves its line. It is not clear where the original entrance lay but, at present, access to the interior is provided by gaps in the bank at S and SE. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
