Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Altore is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Altore, County Roscommon, Ireland. The oval grass-covered area measures about 50 metres NE-SW and 43 metres NW-SE at the crest of a low rise. A scarp 0.6 to 1 metre high defines the boundary, while traces of a 4-metre-wide bank remain at the east. A NE-SW field bank bisects the site, and no original entrance is identifiable.
At the crest of the SE end of a low NW-SE rise. Oval grass-covered area (dims c. 50m NE-SW; c. 43m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 0.6-1m), with traces of a bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.1m) at E. It is bisected by a NE-SW field bank. There is no identifiable original entrance and traces of a fosse at N and ESE-WSW noted in 1978 (SMR file) can no longer be seen.
