What is recorded here
Ahawilk holds a thirty-six-metre earthen ring where mature trees still guard the bank. The grassy interior remains level beneath the pasture, waiting for feet that stopped running centuries ago. People may have circled this space before they ever built it, drawing life from its shape instead of forcing stone into it.
In level pasture. Circular area (diam. 36m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.05m) with external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 1.4m). Numerous mature trees grow along bank. Interior level and under grass.
