Aghnamullen holds a forgotten chamber where human fire and fairy mischief both claim the same earth. The oval bank stands fifteen centimetres proud on one side and vanishes beneath grass on the other, waiting for someone reckless enough to walk the seam between worlds. What is missing is not loss but transformation, for ordinary facts stop at the edge of chambers that do not wish to be measured.

Situated on a N-facing slope. This is an oval grass and scrub-covered area (dims 40m NW-SE; 30m NE-XW) defined by an earthen bank and hedge that is largely reduced to a scarp (at N: H 1.5m) S-N-E and melds into the ground elsewhere. There is no visible fosse and there is a wide entrance (Wth of base 4m) at SE.
